CLARKSVILLE, TN – A man was killed and his wife was critically injured when their motorcycle collided with a car in Clarksville on Saturday morning.
According to WSMV, Elliott Cherry was driving the motorcycle at the time of the incident, which happened at the intersection of Fort Campbell Boulevard and Lady Marion Drive at about 6 a.m.
Cherry was riding north on Fort Campbell Boulevard with his wife Jessica Ripley on the back when they crashed into an Acura sedan as it made a left turn from Lady Marion Drive, police said.
Cherry died from injuries sustained in the accident. Ripley was listed in critical but stable condition.
Clarksville police are investigating the incident and have asked businesses in the area to review any of their security footage that might provide more information about what happened.
