MT. JULIET, TN – A car accident in Wilson County Friday night claimed the life of one of the drivers and left another person injured, WKRN reports.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred at about 10 p.m. on Golden Bear Gateway at Rutland Drive, near Mt. Juliet. The Tennessee Highway Patrol said 53-year-old Tonya Langley had been stopped at a stop sign when she pulled out in front of a car driven by a 17-year-old on Golden Bear Gateway.
Langley’s vehicle was struck and she died from her injuries while on the way to the hospital, the THP said. A passenger in her vehicle was injured and was listed in critical condition.
