Crash alert: 1 dead, 1 injured in head-on collision in Nashville

NASHVILLE, TN – Authorities said one driver was killed and another injured when their vehicles collided in Nashville Tuesday night.

Fox 17 Nashville reported the head-on crash occurred at West Minister Drive and Old Hickory Boulevard in the city’s Belle Meade section at about 11:30 p.m. The scene was the south end of Percy Warner Park.

At least one of the vehicles went up in flames following the collision. First responders pulled the body of one of the drivers from the vehicle.

The other driver was hospitalized with injuries that were described as life-threatening. Details were not immediately released on the circumstances that led to the fatal crash.
