Crash alert: 11-year-old driving SUV crashes into hotel lobby, police say

CLARKSVILLE, TN – Police said a vehicle driven by an 11-year-old slammed into a hotel lobby in Clarksville Monday morning.

According to a report by WKRN, the incident happened at about 1 a.m. at a Quality Inn on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

The child reportedly got behind the wheel of a Toyota Highlander SUV and drove the vehicle through the glass of the lobby. The child’s parent was apparently staying at the hotel but was not in the SUV at the time.

No injuries were reported. Police say no charges will be filed, as the incident was ruled to be an accident.
