JACKSON COUNTYH, TN – Officials said two children were critically injured in an accident involving a pickup truck and an all-terrain vehicle in Jackson County, WKRN reported.
The children, ages 7 and 11, were helping their father push the ATV Sunday afternoon after it became disabled on Stacy Cemetery Lane, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
The driver of the pickup struck the ATV and the children at about 1:30 p.m., pushing the vehicle off the road. The children were airlifted to a hospital, where they were listed in critical condition. The pickup truck driver was not hurt.
