RHEA COUNTY, TN – Authorities say two drivers were injured in a collision in Rhea County Tuesday night, according to 1057 News.
The accident happened on Highway 30 in the area of Cranmore Cove Road. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says 21-year-old Scarlett Matthews was driving a Chevy west on the highway when the vehicle went over the center line and crashed into a Nissan Frontier driven by 59-year-old Donald Blaylock.
Matthews, of Decatur, Tennessee, and Blaylock, of Dayton, were hospitalized but no details were released on the extent of their injuries. Charges are pending against Matthews, according to the accident report by state troopers.
