CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN – A two-vehicle accident in Cumberland County Saturday afternoon left both drivers injured, 1057 News reported.
State police said the crash happened on Highway 127 South near Highway 68. 59-year-old Ronald Nail was driving a Mazda and stopped in the road to make a left turn. As Nail was waiting for the traffic to clear, he was struck from behind by a Chevy Cavalier. The driver of that vehicle was 79-year-old Edna Melton.
The two drivers, both from Crossville, were injured in the accident. Police said they were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
