CROSSVILLE, TN – Two people were hospitalized after their vehicles collided head-on in Crossville Friday, according to a report by 1057 News.
Crossville police have released details from their report on the accident. Witnesses told police that a Chevy pickup was going north on Main Street when the driver tried to turn onto Elmore Road just before the traffic light turned yellow. The Chevy was then struck by an oncoming Hyundai Sante Fe.
The driver of the truck, 85-year-old Ronald R. Cranston of Crossville, and the Hyundai driver, 49-year-old Allison L. Herskovitz, were treated for their injuries at Cumberland Medical Center. Police said both were restrained at the time of the crash.
