CROSSVILLE, TN – A pedestrian was hospitalized after she was struck by an SUV on a street in Crossville Monday, according to 1057 News.
68-year-old Carol Sybert was walking across Main Street in the vicinity of 4th Street when she was hit by a vehicle driven by 64-year-old Debra A. Duffy of Crossville. Police said Duffy was making a left turn on Main Street, did not initially see Sybert, and was unable to avoid hitting her.
Sybert, of Cameron, Missouri, sustained injuries that were not life-threatening, and was treated at Cumberland Medical Center. The incident marked the seventh time this year that a pedestrian has been struck by a vehicle in Cumberland County.
