Crash alert: Accidents involving multiple vehicles in Davidson County

DAVIDSDON COUNTY, TN – Tennessee 511 reported separate accidents involving multiple vehicles on  highways in Davidson County Tuesday.

The first crash was reported at 11:07 a.m. on Interstate 65 southbound at Interstate 24 eastbound.  Officials said southbound traffic was affected with right lanes blocked, while northbound traffic was affected with no delays.

It was estimated that the scene would be cleared by 2:22 p.m.

Another accident was reported at 1:11 p.m. on State Route 155 westbound between Exit 21: SR-112 / US-41A and SR-112 US-41A.

Westbound traffic was being diverted to alternate routes after the roadway was closed.  The scene was expected to be cleared by 3:12 p.m.
