Crash alert: Car crashes into school bus in Cumberland County

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN – Authorities say a school bus was struck by a vehicle in Cumberland County Friday afternoon, according to 1057 News.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol said 60-year-old Kevin Howard of Crossville stopped at a stop sign while driving the bus north on Allen Drive. The driver of a Kia Forte, 19-year-old Madeline Argue of Rockwood, was unable to bring her car to a halt and rear-ended the school bus.

There was an initial report that a couple of students on the bus needed to be evaluated by medics, and Howard drove the bus to Pine View Elementary School following the crash  But no injuries were reported.
