CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN – Two drivers escaped injury after their vehicles were involved in an accident in Cumberland County, 1057 News reported.
The crash happened Sunday afternoon on Interstate 40 at mile marker 316. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a Toyota Camry driven by 50-year-old Scott Ray Hanley was rear-ended by a Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by 44-year-old Ramon Luis Rodriguez Velazquez.
Hanley, from Metropolis, Illinois, and Velazquez, of Dallas, were restrained at the time and neither driver was hurt. Velazquez was charged with following too close, troopers said.
