NASHVILLE, TN – A suspected drunk driver is facing charges following a crash in Nashville that caused injuries, according to WKRN.
Metro police said 28-year-old Esau Tennangueno-Cristobal was driving in the area of Blair Boulevard and 21st Avenue when he caused the accident Wednesday at about 4:30 p.m.
He attempted to flee the scene of the accident but was located nearby, police said. Tennangueno-Cristobal failed field sobriety tests, failed a jail breath test, and showed other indications of alcohol use.
He is charged with driving under the influence. Blood alcohol test results were still pending. Details of the injuries were not immediately released.
