RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN – Three people, including a student, were injured in a crash involving a school bus in Rutherford County Wednesday morning.
According to WKRN, the accident involved the bus, a pickup truck and a passenger car. It happened on John Bragg Highway near Pilot Knob Road at about 7:30 a.m.
Four children were on the bus at the time and one of them, a 16-year-old, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the car involved and a passenger were also hospitalized, but their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident. John Bragg Highway was shut down while the scene was being cleared.
