Crash alert: Crews rescue driver pinned in car after I-24 wreck

CHEATHAM COUNTY, TN – First responders rescued a man who was pinned inside his vehicle after a crash in Cheatham County Saturday night, according to WKRN.

The Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department said its crews arrived to find the vehicle heavily damaged and the driver trapped following the accident on Interstate 24 near mile marker 31 eastbound.

The fire department said the man was talking with its crews the entire time they were cutting him free from the wreckage.

He was taken to the hospital by Cheatham County EMS for treatment.  The Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department posted photos from the scene on its Facebook page.
