NASHVILLE, TN – Police say a man is facing charges after his car was involved in a deadly collision with a motorcycle in Nashville Saturday morning, according to WSMV.
40-year-old Christopher Dailey is charged with aggravated vehicular homicide in connection with the crash, which happened at about 11 a.m.
Metro Police investigators determined that Dailey was driving a Mercury Grand Marquis on Elm Hill Pike when he attempted to make a left onto Massman Drive. Dailey’s vehicle went into the path of a motorcyclist who was riding on Elm Hill Pike, according to police. The motorcycle struck the passenger side of the car and the rider, identified as 48-year-old William Page, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said Dailey showed signs of impairment while performing field sobriety tasks, and a sample of his blood will be analyzed.
