CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN – A man was charged with driving under the influence after crashing his car in Cumberland County early Saturday morning.
According to 1057 News, state troopers were on the scene of the accident near the Homestead Tower. The Tennessee Highway Patrol said 50-year-old Thomas Yarbrough II was driving a Chevy Trailblazer when he tried to turn from Highway 68 onto Highway 127 South. Yarbrough’s vehicle entered a grassy area, slammed into a utility pole and went up an embankment. The driver was injured, but no details were released on his condition.
Yarbrough, of Crossville, now faces charges of DUI and reckless driving.
