DICKSON COUNTY, GA – According to the Tennessean, a head-on collision between two cars claimed the life of one of the drivers Friday afternoon.
The accident happened on Highway 49 in northeast Dickson County. The Tennessee Highway Patrol said 72-year-old Robert Johnston of Charlotte was driving an Oldsmobile Regency westbound when his vehicle was hit by an eastbound Ford Taurus.
Johnston died from injuries suffered in the crash. No information was released on the condition of the Taurus driver, 34-year-old Kaley Richards of Lyles, Tennessee.
