PUTNAM COUNTY, TN – A three-vehicle crash in Putnam County last week sent one of the drivers to the hospital, 1057 News reports.
The vehicles involved were all going east on I-40 at the 295 mile marker when the accident occurred. According to Tennessee state troopers, 51-year-old Kimberly Ann Debord was driving a Toyota Camry when she stopped amid heavy traffic. Her car was hit from behind by a Kia Rio driven by 21-year-old Timothy Charles Bayless of Lawton, Oklahoma. Bayless’s vehicle was then rear-ended by a Toyota Tundra driven by 61-year-old Joseph Ray Lane of Monterey.
Debord, of Crab Orchard, sustained injuries that were not regarded as life-threatening and was taken to Cumberland Medical Center. Authorities said the three drivers were all restrained when the crash happened.
