Crash alert: Driver hurt in Roane County car crash

ROANE COUNTY, TN – Authorities have released details of an accident in Roane County last week that left a driver hospitalized, 1057 News reported.

According to state troopers, 36-year-old Matthew A. Goss of Rockwood was driving a Chevrolet Impala west on Joiner Hollow Road when the crash occurred.  His car went off the road, hit a pole and went up an embankment before flipping over onto its top, authorities said.

Goss was hospitalized at University of Tennessee Medical Center.  Police have charged him with DUI and driving on a revoked license.
