Crash alert: Driver killed, 2 passengers injured in Perry County car accident

PERRY COUNTY, TN – A car accident in Perry County Sunday night left one person dead and two others injured, WKRN reported.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol said a man was driving west on Hurricane Creek Road southeast of Linden when he was unable to negotiate a curve at about 6 p.m.

When the driver overcorrected, the vehicle overturned and the driver was killed.  He was identified as 24-year-old William Hickerson of Hohenwald.  Two passengers, a 24-year-old and a juvenile, were injured in the crash. No details were released on the extent of their injuries.

The THP is trying to determine what caused the accident.
