COOPERTOWN, TN – A driver was killed when his pickup truck crashed into a tractor-trailer on a highway in Robertson County Thursday.
According to the Smokey Barn News, the victim was 35-year-old Christopher Mark Akins of Gallatin. The Tennessee Highway Patrol said Akins was driving a GMC Sierra west on I-24 near mile marker 19 near Coopertown when he rear-ended a tractor-trailer that was stopped in traffic.
