Crash alert: Man killed in accident in Madison

MADISON, TN – Police say a 21-year-old man was killed when his car crashed in Madison Tuesday morning, according to a report by WSMV.

The accident happened at about 3:45 a.m. on I-65 South.  Anthony Tomarchio was driving a Saturn south when the vehicle went off the road, struck a guardrail and rolled over near the exit for Old Hickory Boulevard, police said.  Tomarchio, of White House, was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said he was driving at a high rate of speed and was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
