NASHVILLE, TN – Police are trying to track down the driver responsible for a hit-and-run crash that injured a pedestrian in Nashville Monday morning, WKRN reports.
The victim, a woman who has not been publicly identified, was in the area of Church Street and 4th Avenue North when she was struck at about 5:45 a.m.
The vehicle involved fled the scene of the accident, according to Metro Police. The victim was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, but the extent of her injuries was not immediately clear.
Church Street was closed for the police investigation.
