KNOXVILLE, TN – Police said a man involved in a crash in Knoxville over the weekend was arrested for driving under the influence for the fourth time, WVLT reports.
32-year-old John Walker was taken into custody after officers responded to the incident on Lyons Bend Road Saturday. Officials said Walker damaged a mailbox and two Knoxville Utilities Board power poles during the accident.
Police officers who arrived at the scene said Walker and the two other passengers in the vehicle had a strong smell of alcohol, and a case of opened beers was discovered in the backseat. Walker was placed under arrest after refusing a field sobriety test.
