ANTIOCH, TN – Authorities in Nashville say a man is facing drunk driving charges after crashing into a creek Tuesday morning, WKRN reports.
According to police, 42-year-old Taiwo Anderson drove his car off the road and into the creek in the area of Barclay Square Drive and Volunteer Drive in Antioch at about 12:30 a.m.
Rescue crews found Anderson asleep in the car and pulled him from the vehicle. Police said he smelled of alcohol, and he was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and driving on a revoked license. Bond for Anderson was set at $11,000.
