Crash alert: Man injured when SUV overturns in Kingston

KINGSTON, TN – At least one man was injured when a vehicle crashed while towing a trailer on Interstate 40 in Roane County.

1057 News reported the accident happened Sunday on I-40 near mile marker 352 in Kingston. 46-year-old Joseph Sneed was driving a GMC Yukon that was pulling a trailer with a Dodge Avenger. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Sneed lost control of the Yukon and it went off the road. The vehicle overturned in the median, as did the trailer and the Dodge.

Authorities said 21-year-old Andrew Sneed, a passenger in the SUV, was injured in the accident. There were no immediate details on whether Joseph Sneed was hurt.
