CROSSVILLE, TN – A collision between a motorcycle and an SUV in Crossville left a man hospitalized early this week, according to 1057 News.
The incident happened Sunday in the vicinity of North Main Street and Interstate Drive. Authorities said 75-year-old Jerry Tittsworth was operating a Suzuki motorcycle when it hit a Chevy Equinox driven by 81-year-old Norma Tabor.
Tittsworth, of Sparta, sustained minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital. Tabor, of Crossville, was not injured in the crash.
Police said Tittsworth told them the sun was in his eyes and he believed he had the green light at the time the accident occurred.
