NASHVILLE, TN – Metro Nashville Police tweeted that they were on the scene of a fatal pedestrian accident Thursday afternoon.
The incident happened at 1901 Lebanon Pike shortly before 3:45 p.m. A pedestrian who was picking up traffic cones near a construction project was struck and killed by a pickup truck, police said.
The inbound lanes of Lebanon Pike were shut down, and traffic was being diverted onto Briley Parkway.
