Crash alert: Police seek public’s help in death of Clarksville pedestrian

CLARKSVILLE, TN – Police continue their investigation of a crash that killed a pedestrian in Clarksville and are seeing help from the public, according to a report by News Channel 5.

77-year-old Lilburn L. Evitts was fatally struck earlier this month near Providence Boulevard and Plum Street. Police have released details about the vehicle involved in the incident, saying they are searching for a 4-door car with damage to the front headlight area on the passenger side.

It may have been a black or blue Chrysler 300, according to investigators.
