COOKEVILLE, TN – State troopers were on the scene of an accident involving a school bus in Putnam County Wednesday morning, WKRN reports.
A pickup truck rear-ended the bus after it had stopped to pick up a child. Authorities said the bus had its eight-way lighting system activated at the time it was hit.
No one was injured in the crash, but there was significant damage to the pickup.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol in Cookeville tweeted a photo of the aftermath of the incident, along with a reminder to motorists to watch out for school buses.
