by Ponce Law | September 21st, 2020

GREENBRIER, TN – The driver of an SUV went off the road and crashed in Robertson County last week, the Smokey Barn News reported.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol along with county and local first responders were on the scene of the accident on Distillery Road in Greenbrier.  It happened at about 1 p.m. Thursday when investigators say the driver lost control while going around a curve near a bridge. The vehicle skidded, went off the road and rolled down an embankment before landing on its roof.

Fortunately the young couple inside the vehicle were able to escape without injury. A field sobriety test determined that the driver was not impaired at the time.

The crash shut down Distillery Road for about an hour while the vehicle was removed and the TSP conducted their investigation.
