Crash alert: Victim identified in wreck on I-65 in Nashville

NASHVILLE, TN – One of the victims of a deadly crash on Interstate 65 in Nashville Friday night has been identified, according to WKRN.

This is an update to a previous story.

Authorities say the incident occurred on I-65 North near Exit 95 for Vietnam Veterans Boulevard at about 8:30 p.m. when a tractor-trailer collided with a car, and both vehicles caught fire.

Two people were pronounced dead at the scene. One of the victims was identified as Tammy Warden. Her husband Halbert was critically injured in the crash. Their family has set up a GoFundMe account on their behalf to raise money for their funeral expenses.
