Crash alert: Police arrest woman wanted in deadly Nashville crash

NASHVILLE, TN – A woman is under arrest in connection with a fatal accident in Nashville, WSMV reports.

This is an update to a previous story.

29-year-old Derrica Johnson was wanted on charges of vehicular homicide following the incident, which occurred March 21. Johnson was a passenger in the front seat of her Chevrolet Impala and allegedly allowed a man to drive the car while drunk.

Police said the driver, 25-year-old Robert McMutuary, crossed over a double yellow line on Haywood Lane and collided with a Nissan Altima, killing a back-seat passenger in the Altima.

According to police, McMutuary had a blood alcohol level of more than three times the legal limit at the time of the accident. He is currently in jail on charges of vehicular homicide by intoxication and multiple counts of vehicular homicide.
