Crash alert: Woman arrested following crash of stolen car in Cumberland County

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN – A woman driving a stolen car crashed on a road in Cumberland County this week and was arrested, 1057 News reports.

According to the police report, the incident happened as 36-year-old Racheal G. Hill was driving a Subaru on the 400 block of Rector Road. She was attempting to negotiate a turn when she hit a utility pole.

Authorities said a check revealed that the car had been stolen, and the owner then reclaimed possession of the vehicle.  Hill, a Crossville resident, was arrested on charges of theft of property and driving on a suspended license.
