CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN – A woman was injured in an accident involving three vehicles in Cumberland County on Monday. 1057 News reported the incident occurred on Peavine Road near Fence Lane.
According to police, the driver of a Ford stopped abruptly to let a car enter the roadway, and a vehicle behind the Ford that was driven by 59-year-old Julie S. York took action to try and avoid a collision.
At that point, York’s vehicle was hit by a Mack dump truck. York, a resident of Grandview, was injured and hospitalized at Cumberland Medical Center. No details were immediately released on her condition.
No one else was hurt in the crash.
