NASHVILLE, TN – An elderly Nashville couple died in a two-vehicle crash in the Belle Meade area yesterday afternoon, Fox 17 reports.

91-year-old Joseph Holloran was attempting to make a left-hand turn at Harding Pike and Vaughns Gap Road when his Nissan Frontier was struck by an eastbound Nissan Titan.

Holloran and his 89-year-old wife Mary were taken to a nearby hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

Metro police believe that Holloran failed to yield the right of way, although further investigations are ongoing.
