MORGAN COUNTY, TN – Troopers with the Tennessee Highway Patrol reported a single fatality following a Thursday morning crash in Knoxville.
According to WATE, the accident took place at about 8:30 p.m. along Rankin Chapel Road.
Investigators believe 61-year-old Terry Collins lost control of his 2000 Toyota Celica and careened off the road. He was ejected through the sunroof of the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
