NASHVILLE, T.N. – One person was killed in a car wreck in Bellevue on Friday morning, WKRN reports.
Authorities say 20-year-old Anna Miller was traveling south on Temple Road when she stopped her car at a flashing red light. While she drove into the road’s intersection at Highway 100, her 2004 Honda Accord was hit by a 24-year-old man in a 2003 Mercedes sedan.
The woman was rushed to Vanderbilt Medical Center where she died of her injuries. The man driving the sedan was not injured but a passenger in the car was treated for minor injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle did not appear to be impaired. Police believe his failure to yield the right of way contributed to the accident.
