Rollover Accident Results in Injuries
The three-vehicle crash took place around mile marker 227 on Interstate 40 in Tennessee, where traffic was slowing down as vehicles entered a construction area. According to officials investigating the cause of the Tennessee car accident, an inattentive driver allegedly failed to recognize that traffic was slowing down and subsequently rear-ended another vehicle traveling in the same direction. Both of these vehicles rolled over as a result of the collision and a third vehicle was struck as well. As Sgt. Tyler Chandler with the Mt. Juliet Police Department reported, two people were injured in the Tennessee car accident, one of whom was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The other person suffered minor injuries in the rollover crash.
