Crash alert: 2 men injured when motorcycles collide in Crossville

CROSSVILLE, TN – Two men were injured, one seriously, when their motorcycles collided on a street in Cumberland County Thursday afternoon.

According to 1057 News, the accident happened on North Main Street in Crossville just south of Interstate 40.  Police said 68-year-old Ronald K. Brewer was riding a Honda VTX when it crashed into another motorcycle that was operated by 63-year-old Charles R. Wear.

Brewer, of La Harpe, Illinois, was treated for serious injuries at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Wear, of Carthage, Illinois, was taken to Cumberland Medical Center. No details were released on the cause of the accident.
