CROSSVILLE, TN – According to 1057 News, a motorcyclist was sent to the hospital after a collision with an SUV at a hazardous curve in Crossville last week.
The accident happened Thursday night in the area of Northside Drive and South Drive, site of the curve that reportedly has been the scene of a number of accidents recently.
Crossville police said 52-year-old Hollie Brenton Hairston was riding a Honda motorcycle when the vehicle slid after hitting some gravel in the road. The motorcycle then collided with a Jeep Liberty and Hairston landed in a grassy area. The motorcyclist was treated for minor injuries at Cumberland Medical Center.
Police said the SUV driver, 36-year-old Mauro Caselli of Crossville, stopped before the vehicle was hit by the motorcycle.
