NASHVILLE, TN – A motorcyclist was killed when he collided with a truck on a roadway in Nashville Friday night, WKRN reported.

Police said Roderick Left, age 35, was riding his motorcycle on Briley Parkway at about 8 p.m. when he crashed into the rear of a semi driven by David Hayden, 63.  The accident happened as Hayden was preparing to enter the entrance ramp onto Interstate 24 westbound.  Investigators believe the main cause of the incident was that Hayden’s truck had stopped in the road.

Left, of Madison, was pronounced dead later at TriStar Skyline Medical Center.  Hayden was not hurt in the accident.
