Bailey Freeman
Tenth Grade
Perry County High School
Mr. B as his students call him is a first year teacher-which is why I am nominating him. I am his assistant principal. Every time he has been evaluated or just dropped in on, his students are engaged in active learning. He has made commas fun. His room is decorated with a pleasant ambiance with soft music in the background, decorative lights, and an overall atmosphere that invites students to learn.
Mr. B was hired in October 2022. He only had a little time with his classes before the EOC testing began. His students scored as good and a few better than some others in the charge of veteran teachers. Right now on Spring Break, the parking lot at PCHS is empty save one car: Mr. B's. I have witnessed him arrive at 5:15 AM because he is not only dedicated to teaching his students, but he has a passion for their success past the classroom. He deserves this nomination.
