Cara Pearson

Mrs. Pearson is an extraordinary Language Arts teacher whose students adore her. She is so kind and caring. She knows her students well and works to meet them where they are. Mrs. Pearson works to find reading passages that not only meet the standards but also are meaningful and relevant to our students. Mrs. Pearson taught our current 7th graders last year in 6th grade and decided to transition up with them, even though the needs within this group of students are quite demanding. She has worked hard to give them consistency in language arts to try to make a big difference with them. Mrs. Pearson will be an excellent choice for this award.
