Crash alert: Pedestrian struck and killed by truck in Hermitage

|HERMITAGE, TN – A pedestrian trying to cross a road in Hermitage Wednesday night was fatally struck by a truck, according to Fox 17 Nashville.
The incident happened in the 5000 block of Old Hickory Boulevard near Lebanon Pike at about 6 p.m. The victim, identified as 39-year-old Benjamin Wade of Mt. Juliet, was hit by a tanker truck and died at the scene.
The driver of the truck, a Murfreesboro man, is not facing any charges. Investigators said he was driving under the speed limit at the time of the crash. Police say the area where it occurred is not illuminated by street lights.

|HERMITAGE, T.N. – A car accident with property damage has been reported by the Nashville Police Department on Wednesday, June 3, via their official website.
The accident took place at a shopping center located at 5751 Old Hickory Boulevard at 4:18 p.m. The cause of the accident is not yet known, nor is if anyone was injured.
