A total of nine vehicles were involved in the wreck, which occurred in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 24 near Antioch Pike just before 8 p.m.

Investigators said the driver of an Infiniti Q-50 was trying to avoid a Mazda re-entering traffic on the highway when the Infiniti struck an Acura.
