NASHVILLE, TN – Police are searching for the driver who struck a pedestrian in Nashville Friday night and then left the scene.
According to WSMV, 37-year-old Maurice Ferguson was hit by a car in the southbound lane of Dickerson Pike at about 9:30 p.m. Ferguson was standing outside of a crosswalk at the time, police said.
He was critically injured in the accident and transported to Skyline Medical Center. Investigators say the car involved in the incident fled the area. It was described as a 2006 to 2012 silver Chevrolet Impala.

NASHVILLE, TN – Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver after a pedestrian was fatally struck in Nashville Monday night, according to a report in the Tennessean.
The incident happened at about 8 p.m. in the area of Rosa L. Parks Boulevard and Monroe Street in the Germantown section.
The victim, 51-year-old Aaron Wilkerson, was spotted on the ground by another motorist and was pronounced dead later at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Authorities said the driver left the scene after a man was struck in the 200 block of Shelby Avenue in Central Nashville. The victim was hospitalized at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, but his injuries were not believed to be serious.

NASHVILLE, TN – Authorities are searching for the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a man in Nashville Friday night, wkrn.com reported.
The incident happened around 11:15 p.m. on Lafayette Street near its intersection with Fairfield Avenue. Police say 41-year-old Robert Preston III was crossing the street when he was hit by a Hyundai sedan going south. Preston was pronounced dead at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
According to witnesses, the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed before the crash. Preston was not in the crosswalk at the time, police said.
The vehicle involved was described as a charcoal gray Hyundai sedan. Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities.

According to the memo, 57-year-old Percy Williams was riding a bicycle near Charlotte Avenue and 31st Avenue North when he was hit by a 2004 Pontiac Gram Am driven by Vincent Shinault. After the accident, Shinault put the victim in his car and drove him to a nearby alley. He then dumped his body there and left the scene. Williams was seriously injured — a bystander noticed his body and called 911.
Shinault was eventually arrested for aggravated kidnapping and vehicular assault.
