CLARKSVILLE, TN – A man is facing charges in connection with an accident that killed a city employee in Clarksville last year, according to a report by News Channel 5.

On September 3, 2019, 34-year-old Jeffrey Prosecky was fatally struck by a tractor-trailer in the vicinity of Riverside Drive and College Street. Prosecky, a Street Department worker who was on-duty at the time, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the vehicle involved was being driven by 63-year-old Jeffrey Dunn, and that Dunn did not stop following the accident.   Dunn has now been indicted by a Montgomery County grand jury on charges of criminally negligent homicide.  He was released from jail on a $25,000 bond.
