Crash alert: Stretch of I-24 in Nashville shut down due to overturned tractor-trailer

NASHVILLE, TN – According to WKRN, a stretch of Interstate 24 in South Nashville was shut down by a tractor-trailer accident Wednesday morning.

Police said the truck overturned in the westbound lanes of I-24 near the exit for Harding Place at about 3:20 a.m. The crash involved two other vehicles as well, but only minor injuries were reported.

The incident affected morning traffic as I-24 was shut down from Harding Place to the exit for Briley Parkway before reopening at about 5 a.m. The ramp from Harding Pike onto I-24 was reopened at about 7:15 a.m.
